‘STATION FIRE’ Images Posted

Images have now been posted in our gallery after spending three days on the fireground of the Station Fire.  Since it’s start on August 26th, the Station Fire has burned over 147,000 acres (about 230 square miles) of the Angeles National Forest and surrounding communities.  Almost 5,000 personnel are on scene with an estimated 38% containment.  I will likely return to the Forest this weekend to record some of the damage caused by the fire.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the LA County Fire Department and the families of Captain Tedmund “Ted” Hall and Specialist Arnaldo “Arnie” Quinones who lost their lives when their vehicle went over the side of the road near Mt. Gleason while trying to find an escape route for their crew.
