ABOUT CRAIG
Craig Durling is an internationally published photojournalist specializing in emergency service, sporting, nature and wildlife behavior photography. Craig’s work has appeared in several countries and in such magazines as Firehouse Magazine, FireRescue, The Firemen’s Grapevine, Wildland Firefighter, Los Angeles Times Magazine, Dirt Wheels, Sand Sports, Sports Illustrated for Kids and ESPN Magazine. Craig’s work has also been used in calendars, books, advertising, educational materials and on network television.
A volunteer photographer for the Los Angeles County Fire Department as well as the Pasadena Fire Department, Craig spends hundreds of hours annually on firelines throughout Southern California, documenting the heroic efforts of firefighters in action. Craig has served on the Board of Directors of the California Fire Photographers Association for over ten years. Craig also produces and hosts the “Fireground Action Photography” podcast which is available on iTunes.
